Digital Marketing has many variables parts and tools. It is a data-driven amalgamation of innovation, creativity, and analytics; one should have a creative mind, data analysis, writing and editing, and technical skills that must have won to be a rock star Marketer.

This is a Happy NY'22 day 1 post ... wising a wonderful pandemic-free world. STAY SAFE IN YOUR CAREER MOVE TO EARN LIVING

The corporate and online BIZ world is dynamic. MARKET IS NOT LIMITED TO A PHYSICAL PLACE DUE TO E-COMMERCE ONLINE MARKETING. A BORDER-FREE JOB MARKET TO COMPETE WITH THE WORLD OF TALENTS IS THE ISSUE.

TO BE AN UNICORN IN THE ATLANTIC OF DUNKIES IS TOO ROUGH AND TAUGHT

This is not a high JUMP to jump up over the maximum height. As a viewer, we always won in real-time how easy it was. Managing star performance should be sweat, behind the science right?

Hone your craft and practice, practice, practice.

How much rice out of how much paddy!

After all, we’re looking at the results. But don’t think I can just get out of their way and let them excel. They require just as much attention as everyone else.

Digital Marketing Executives are generally responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and managing the overall digital marketing strategy. Assisting in the formulation of strategies: to build a lasting digital connection with consumers. Planning and monitoring the ongoing company presence on social media. Launching optimized online advertisements to increase company and brand awareness.

digital marketing executive is typically responsible for engaging a brand with customers or clients via the digital space. Their main aim is to establish and manage the businessonline presence. Typically, a digital marketing executive promotes products on online platforms and websites.

The Hard and Soft Digital Marketing Skills of Rock star Marketers

Realized that if I want a wildly successful career in digital marketing, these are the digital marketing skills I need. I cover both hard and soft skills, as well as why every marketer needs to learn Design Thinking.

For all the marketing jobs, digital marketing demands the broadest variety of skills. You have to be part artist, part scientist, part mathematician—and sometimes part magician—to succeed in a digital marketing career.

You only have to read a few job descriptions to realize that this field requires a potpourri of digital marketing skills. Here, for example, are just a few skills from a single digital marketing job description template:

  • Digital data analysis
  • Email preparation
  • Coordination with the sales team
  • Use video and picture editing software
  • Problem-solving

And that’s just a snapshot of a typical digital marketing job description! Makes you wonder if employers are looking for a real person … or a unicorn.

The reality is, digital marketing demands a wide range of both hard and soft skills. That’s why a digital marketing career isn’t for everyone. For example, you can’t just be good with words; you have to have a head for numbers, too.

But if you’re truly interested in digital marketing and you’re committed to a lifetime of learning, then you can definitely make it!

Rock Star! Two words that summon powerful images of a performer, someone with supercharged energy, and someone who is a bit edgy, yet loved by millions. It may be a term that is more associated with the music industry but the corporate world is always looking for its next rock star. Managers want solid performers who come to play their A-game every single day.

So what does it take to skyrocket to fame as a Rock Star in the workplace? Here are 10 steps that guarantee success. You don’t advance in your career because you do a half-ass job. You advance because you produce great results. Learn the fundamentals. Learn the basics until you consistently produce solid results.

Victories arise because you spend time honing your craft.  You don’t wake up one morning as a success. It takes time and is a work in progress. And if you don’t get it right the first time, look for ways to grow. Surround yourself with the right people to help you. Perfecting fundamentals is an essential foundation for your future advancement.

Challenge norms and break conventions. Come to the table with new ideas and don’t rehash the old ones. Employers are looking for skills beyond the basics. According to a 2010 Critical Skills Survey by the American Management Association, critical thinking and problem solving are valued traits in top performers. Managers want problem solvers.

Once you start performing, people will take notice of your presence, and then finally getting the title under your belt is a big task.

But, if you are determined to achieve that, then you will be working in that direction only and within no time you will be able to create a good impression on your employer’s mind.

Out of the common approach, everyone would like to wear a lot of hats in the sense that they simultaneously face a lot of different challenges and tasks, all relating to different areas within marketing.

But what are the most important features and abilities to have when working in digital marketing?

1. Analytical Capacity

ASSUMING AND GUESSING IN DECISION MAKES ARE GONE AND ALREADY BEEN OBSOLETE. THIS IS DATA- ANALYTICS-DRIVEN DECISION MAKING WORLD MANAGEMENT OF DECISION MAKING TO CO-OPT WITH IS A MUST…

2. Communication

Digital marketers seek to build a connection between brands and users. Understanding a brand’s target audience and knowing how to communicate with them convincingly is essential. The digital marketer is also responsible for maintaining the tone of the brand and for transmitting honesty and clarity at all times. Many brand reputation crises are nothing but simple communication failures.

Whether they have to explain a new strategy, share the results of a campaign, or give a presentation, strong marketers tend to be strong communicators. Being able to communicate well within your own team and with clients is both important when considering how to be a good marketer?

3. Writing

Whether firing off a social media post, writing a blog entry, or even just a simple, email, marketers need to have strong writing skills. Many marketers dabble in some form of written content creation, so being able to clearly and effectively write is an essential skill. This is also important for internal and corporate communications, especially when it comes to campaign planning and reporting.

4. Visual editing

Video content and photos are all the key ingredients of a brand's communication strategy. Therefore, most digital marketers are expected to know at least the basics of video and image editing. This is especially key for social media marketers and content marketers.

5. Creativity

Technical skills are essential, but so is having that "spark" that helps create unforgettable campaigns.

In the end, much of the success in digital marketing is about capturing your audience’s attention from the competition, especially now that users’ attention is more divided among different platforms. Because of this, a good digital marketing professional has to be able to think outside the box and come up with creative and unique ways to communicate and solve problems.

6. Teamwork

Marketers rarely work alone. Whether you work in a team or department, or you’re the only marketing person in your organization, a marketer needs to know how to be able to work on a team. Even the sole marketer in a small business has to be able to work collaboratively with other departments to get their tasks done and accomplish their goals.

With a marketing department that consists of several people specialized in different disciplines like content marketing, SEO/SEM, audiovisual content, collaboration and coordination between everyone is absolutely essential.

7. Curiosity

The digital marketing sector is always growing and evolving. Marketers never know what new platform or trend they'll find next week like new technology, a meme that goes viral, an update to Google's algorithm, etc.

This is why perhaps the most important quality of a marketer is curiosity, resilience to changes, and the desire to continue learning. With this type of mindset, every day in the work of a digital marketer is a new professional adventure.

Final thoughts:

  1. Listening DOES- FOLLOWING, QUCIK LEARNING CO-OPT Reliability AND work ethics Empathy Respectfulness Collaborative Creative innovative team playing go far and beyond crucial to driving success are the main features.
  2. Managing my star performers should be no sweat, right? After all, they’re delivering results and exceeding targets. But don’t think I can just get out of their way and let them excel. They require just as much attention as everyone else
  3. Being a good marketer means being constantly on the move AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT. To learn new skills, take into account the goals of the company and strive to achieve them. Define performance criteria to competently demonstrate the effectiveness of your work. Attend thematic events, read the blogs of renowned professionals, and surround yourself with successful people to quickly become a real pro.

Do your best to find a role that reflects your values and interests, and utilizes your skills in the best way to improve your work ethic.

·         Value your organization or company-

It’s hard to exhibit a strong work ethic if you don’t value the company you work for. The more you care about your organization, the better of an employee you’ll be, and the better of a work ethic you’ll have.

·         Practice time management-

Good time management will ensure you get to work on time, meet deadlines, maintain a solid attendance record, and successfully complete projects and tasks without supervision.

·         Ensure your work is of high quality-

Ensuring your work is of high quality and is the best you can do shows your employers that you’re dedicated to your job and are willing to put in the necessary effort.

·         Don’t shy away from hard work-
Those that persist in the face of challenge and change will quickly develop a reputation for having a good work ethic. Put your hand up to help with projects, offer colleagues assistance where you can, and join any workgroups that exist to solve higher-level organizational challenges.

·         Always look for ways to improve yourself-
Be on a perpetual quest for self-betterment and advancement, seeking out opportunities to undertake workplace learning, further your network, or refine your existing skills. Be creative.

·         Own your mistakes-
There’s absolutely no shame in making mistakes – they are inevitable, they happen to everyone, and they are often the source of the most valuable learnings in your career.
