Quora.com post on freelancing

This is a border-free globalize one market. Freelancing is a huge market with a damn huge challenge and competition to compete with global top talents.

Come entry into the HEAVEN is too tough even YOU have skills!

Although you have completed Digital Marketing course, Online Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Fundamental of digital marketing, Free digital marketing courses for job readiness. Know how on tools SEMrush, Ahref, BuzzSumo, G-suite, MS-Office suite, Google Keyword Planner, Adwords, Google search console, Google Trends, and MUCH MORE! Project Management Software ZOHO, Wrike, HubSpot CRM, e-mail automation apps: MailChimp, Aweber, Social media posting automation apps- HootSuite, etc….

Very recently a quora.com post by Mark Mehling, Direct Response Marketer visited and commented on by me, Md Leakat Ali, Exceptional Ever LEARNER Tech BIZ SM DMM Savvy Growth Hacker

This is an outcome of this post How come entry into freelancing can be so tough even though there is a huge market for it and you have the skills?

quora.com post on freelance marketing yourself and my comment

I have copy-paste the total post and my comments at the bottom of the post for your reference.  Here are putting more lights on:

A very valuable 3 points have caught my attention.

He actually sheds more light on what he mentioned in points-2

Yes, that's his second point I focused a lot on it. I don't disagree only we freelancers are under-qualified but mentioning or placing have all the skills, that floods and businessman worries of sachems… truly this a hurdle

Now it seems to me that one side has done it and the businessmen who recruit us are worried about floods.

We people or freelancers are also scared worried about scams of businessmen, employers, recruiters HR!  I was talking about the problem from both sides of the Isles… vice versa.

Here we see many recruiters undermine that we are from an underdeveloped world, English is our second language.  We are third-world people.

We are freelancers though we are under-qualified and many business recruiters show us various temptations and in fact, they try to hire us at low prices, as we are from underprivileged countries and our language is not English. Floods internship with different promises to exploit our labor and after the completion of the internship, they provide a comment “This time you are not fit for the company”.

This way that way they sold our internship works/ jobs to other buyers on their platforms. Who are their subscribed members?

So now that's a problem on both our sides. One of the most frustrating ways for businesses and employers to show us the temptation to give us jobs is through the internet.  We are also being worry about their scams too.

Professor Maslow’s HR theory of wants is predominant and humanitarian ground one.  Working environment and salary issues always subside due we are in a disadvantageous position. There is no hard and fast rule for online freelancer’s recruitments. This is a FREE world and FREE marketplace, and Everybody taking advantage out of it.

Digital Darwinism: Survival of the Fittest in the Age of Business Disruption and agile Marketing

To transform and sustain in the market is the FOCUS of all.

All that glitters is not gold…but bad money drives good money out of the market…

Copies paste the total post and my comments as under:

“Because, like any business, you need to market your skills. And many freelancers know nothing about how to do marketing.

Secondly, since there are few certifications to indicate your quality, the market has been flooded with unqualified people claiming all types of skills. Business owners are wary of being scammed.

People do business with those they know, like, and trust. That’s a great place to start. Use your freelance skills to build up those three areas.

Much of freelancing is like riding a bicycle. Once you learn, it’s all about practice and refinement. Even the best constantly study their craft.

The more marketing you know, the more people will want your services.

Welcome to freelancing!!”

My comments:

You are right and trace out the focal point out of problem-solving know-how and market realization.

This is a border-free globalize one market. Freelancing is a huge market with a damn huge challenge with global top talents. Come entry into the HEAVEN is too tough even YOU have skills!

The first hurdle- you pinpointed the MARKETING. I am thriving and many of us know nothing how to brand ourselves to sell out in the market. This is the most predominant LEGACY for every freelance!

The second one- Guilty GOLD, “the market has been flooded with unqualified people claiming all types of skills.”, and “Business owners are wary of being scammed.”, creates another hurdle!

The Third- Building trust is the most critical and sneak peek that dozed and nubs me. From 2008 to date I am thriving to do the same. Ask Google “ Md. Leakat Ali” “Md. Leakat Ali Leku” “Lekubd” Lekuctg”. Very simple to know about me and my works through presence. I am confused off… when recruiters ask me so many questions other than using AI? Even after submitting all requisites, FAQs answered the honorable HR asked “where is your 1) answer….” OMG…under the pillow? Sorry! How could we come up with it?

They have all the rights and privileges of doing and undo anything! In most cases, the working environment and Humanitarian issue of wants subside- offering very low or internship labor… spam and scams!?

Please put more light on this issue. This is my earnest appeal and request you to make it vice versa.

“The more marketing you know, the more people will want your services.” the only way out…to get rid of...

You are MOST welcome, Thanks for your time and advice.

Again- please put more light on…

Regards

Conclusion:

·         The freelance market has been flooded with unqualified people claiming all types of skills. And employers exploiting with providing a fake promise of appointment, and internship scams… problems from both sides of the isles to overcome to have a win-win situation for all.

·          To transform and sustain in the market is the FOCUS of all. But online is too open…no privacy of what you are doing, going, writing, interacting, commenting, reviews, sharing, posting all are contents and links… on SEARCH ENGINE… spider and AI keep tracking on…

All that glitters is not gold…

but bad money drives good money out of the market!?

What is sales and Marketing strategy?

I always love to sales VISION! Not products!!

I love to believe in simple living high thinking- a creative out of box thinker.  Vision is a long-term goal. I have been trying since 2008 to promote and barding myself as a Freelancer Blogger Pleader. Niches: Work-Life Virtual Remote Nomad Social Digital Media Marketer Admin Supports Business Development works.

In Bangladesh and all over the world practicing the shortcuts KEYS to digs success- is it? Is it a sustainable GOAL?
In Marketing, we are often using the TERM “Promotion and Branding”.

Another most important factor is “GOODWILL” which we can’t see and touch but having a HUGE book value as an asset- Debit side of corporate, large, medium or small business Information Statement or in the year ended closing Balance sheet.

The brand is also a long-term asset- a prime function of marketing by promotion.  Creating awareness, demand, wants or needs by marketing propaganda advertisements, events, word of mouth, and webinar plus+++
For many sales managers focusing on short-term day-to-day results, it's often challenging to think like a leader and focus on achieving a long-term vision. But that is exactly what a sales manager must do in order to maximize the performance of his or her team.

A sales vision is a statement that indicates where you want your sales team to be at some future time. Without a sales vision, a sales team may have a lack of focus, difficulty prioritizing activities, or a feeling of drifting. A clear sales vision provides focus and direction for you and your team, energizes your team, and improves results and performance.

Of course, having a clear sales vision is only one critical element of a sales vision. The real challenge lies in achieving the vision. The V-G-S-T process is a powerful framework that helps you develop and achieve your sales vision. The first step of this process is to create the sales Vision.
The sales vision may be somewhat vague. In order to make it concrete and easy to understand for your sales team, you need to translate the vision into one or more specific goals.

Next, you should develop some broad Strategies to achieve your goals. And finally, identify step-by-step Tactics that you and your team will need to execute each of these strategies.

Stay tuned and continue reading my vision series Next.....

How to start a business by conducting your own primary research

Conduct a startup- RESEARCH in the FIRST place a KEY to success HUNTING sustainable growth Marketing

“Whoever gets closer to the customer wins.”

Bernadette Jiwa - Founder, The Right Company

very recently- Feb 27, 2020, I have got one request to submit a consultancy proposal from one of my CITY- Chittagong Based BPO companies under a renowned group’s sister concern. CEO is a bachelor of computer science and an MBA! Two Indian advisors- one from the Reliance group!!

When I have gone through their online site visit, conducted an overview and site audit online. I was astonished by… only one monthly organic visit and Zero social media traffic. But they are maintaining a Facebook page!!!

I have got an interview with an American FITNESS TRAINER company as a Freelance Marketer Applicant (Commission-based). I have found so many issues to address before scheduling a Skype one – on – meeting. I have sent 8 FAQs to answer. The Owner is a TRUE and honest gentleman that he discloses the facts so very nice and wisely in detail answered my 8 questions one by one separately marked and stared.

He is supposed to thinking of a part-time job advertisement next. I have expressed my interest: finding his courtesy for the late response, honest detailed answers, and 90% autonomy of doing work that pleased me to conduct and paid a courtesy visit to 2 websites, 2 blogs, and FB, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram YouTube social media profiles to have looked all about the BIZ. Conducted an online site overview and Site audit…..which takes about 4 hours time to complete (For free)

Maintained all professional-looking website social media profiles but driving very poor organic and social media traffic to websites plus more…issues

I have compiled all my findings and sent an email report to this end to schedule a Skype meeting for discussion as a Business Development, Digital Marketing, and Sales LEAD- manager situation.

Both cases niche almost the same as well as Startups Business and Marketing Consultancy. Out of these two, I am thinking of myself starting my own online consultancy BABA HOME (experimental online Google Business (Free) has already been open). Now I am thinking of moving forward with the same to grow…. And this is the outcome…. As a case study

And yesterday 28 Feb 2020, out of intention and good faith I have conducted
First of all and common practice, I have LEARNT through a training course on General Marketing:

“Talent borrows. Genius Steals!” is a quote attributed most often and it was my first lesson on the Digital Marketing Course tutorial. And it’s often used by people who shamelessly rip off others, in a glib attempt to justify their appalling behavior. Tweet thieves being a notable example. It's called Genius Steals because we believe ideas are new combinations…

So, those competitors have already been drive success in your niche, products, SEO, tags, Mention, plan, strategies whatever PLUS more... Search and copy/paste from them.... easy and add yours

Second Tutorial that I have done in my Marketing Strategist internship with money Mouth Marketing very recently:

Digital Market Research Blueprint- Driving Traffic  EPs (Execution Plan and exercise) Find the new market, Locate “SPY” on competitors and ad/Landing page copy based on data.

Market research can help startups understand where they should be placing their resources and time. It can tell you everything from how people perceive your company, as well as which features to drop or continue developing. And while there are plenty of ways to conduct market research, not every market research method is right for every situation.

Market research can help play a major role in developing your product, marketing, and overall business strategy. Understanding the different market research methods can be the difference between wasting months of engineering time or exceeding your ambitious revenue targets.

The 2 types of market research are eminent in general

All market research falls under two distinct categories: primary research and secondary research.
Primary research looks at any data you collect yourself (or someone you pay). It encompasses analyzing current sales, metrics, and customers. It also takes into account the effectiveness of current practices, while taking competitors into account.
Secondary research looks at data that has already been published by others. It includes reports and studies from other companies, government organizations, and others in your industry. Say for example:
Once Yahoo thinking of buying Google when Google was in trouble….
Now Google is the front runner…..and Yahoo?

While there are many ways to perform market research, most businesses use one or more of five basic methods: surveys, focus groups, personal interviewsobservation, and field trials. The type of data you need and how much money you're willing to spend will determine which techniques you choose for your business.

There are several ways to categorize the various market research methods. The vast majority of techniques fit into one of six categories: (1) secondary research, (2) surveys, (3) focus groups, (4) interviews, (5) observation, or (6) experiments/field trials. ... The other five are all different flavors of primary research.

In this blog post, you’ll learn how to conduct quick, effective market research without hiring an agency—something called lean market research. It’s easier than you might think, and it can be done at any stage in a product’s life cycle.
To show you how it’s done in the real world, I’ve included a market research
Why is market research so valuable?
Without research, it’s impossible to understand your users. Sure, you might have a general idea of who they are and what they need, but you have to dig deep if you want to win their loyalty.
Someone day I may go for writing another post on Deep down Research Next.
Here’s why research matters…
·         Obsessing over your users are the only way to win. If you don’t care deeply about improving user experience, you’ll lose potential customers to someone who does.
·         Analytics gives you the ’what,’ but research gives the ‘why.’
·         Research beats assumptions, trends, and so-called best practices. Have you ever watched your colleagues rally behind a terrible decision? Bad ideas are often the result of guesswork, emotional reasoning, death by best practices, and defaulting to the Highest Paid Person’s Opinion (HiPPO). By listening to your users and focusing on their customer experience, you’re less likely to get pulled in the wrong direction.
·         Research keeps you from planning in a vacuum. Your team might be amazing, but you and your colleagues simply can’t experience your product the way your customers do. Customers might use your product in a way that surprises you, and features that seem obvious to you might confuse them. Over planning and refusing to test your assumptions is a waste of time, money, and effort because you will likely need to make changes once your untested plan gets put into practice.

Real Ways to Make Money from HOME

PEOPLE WHO SAY “IT’S EASY TO MAKE MONEY ONLINE” ARE LYING.

Have you been applying for jobs all over but just can’t seem to find freelance work?
Not even know where to apply and how to apply. Have you started feeling unlucky?
We hate to break it to you but honest truth; it really isn’t about luck but, about work, LOTS of it. But of course, it doesn’t mean just applying to lots and lots of jobs and praying something comes through. Sometimes it simply means being strategic and going about things the right way.

Do you want to make money online – and at home?
Are you looking for an online carrier- virtual working from home?
Are you looking for a full-time online opportunity, part-time?
Trying to pick up some extra cash from the comfort of your home without commuting?

The most important step is to try something. Try means with consistency. Most of the ventures will take a while to get going and to build up to the point where you’ll be making serious money. But you need to start somewhere!

First of all- Freelancing means working remotely, having much more freedom, being closer to our children, becoming a digital nomad…not an easy-going, and earning a passive income- like ads and words! Moreover- we are trying to be a freelancer competing with TALENTS of the whole globe.

Secondly- English is our second language. The most online working environment is English-oriented.

Thirdly- we are not living in USA UK OR Australia where the marketplace or the job market is situated.
Every day we are getting illusive ads, posts, videos to make easy money online as easy grapes are ready to eat from the plate.

Note: I am not talking about PPC, Surveys, and Affiliates like go-getter gig economy jobs. My purpose and niches are a bit different from those types of online works. I am pleading part or full-time ongoing placement situations. Not even thinking of online marketplace contractor jobs too. Since my inception in 2008, I have been going with market places namely- Freelancers, Odesk, Elance, and more…these all became an old GENERATION… and were painful to me because of micro works for a few time hire and fire. Again FINDING BIDING applying hassle takes 6 months to get a 2 weeks job again all the same bidding….. Besides all these hassles another most tragic incident might cause negative reviews from buyers. All buyers are not too good to handle…so many CRAZY and Mad people over there…

So, many issues and other cons, the reasons why I have already been avoided and discouraged to work with the marketplace.  They charge 20% out of your paid or earned money which is also a big issue for me.

Knowing and defining your professional skills:

With so much competition and so many people and headlines vying for our attention, sifting through and finding reputable sources to generate any respectable amount of income through the web has become an ever-increasing challenge. So, where are we supposed to turn to make money the legitimate way online? This isn't just about generating passive income; this is also about finding ways and means to create an active income through the conveniences afforded to us by the internet that will not only help us with our debt obligations but also empower us to save, invest and get really rich in the future.

It's not easy by any means. Anyone that tells you otherwise isn't being transparent with you. It takes an enormous amount of effort and authority-building before you can really start getting rich through your online income-producing activities.
Every decision that we make in life is weighed on a pain-versus-pleasure scale. We will always do more to avoid pain than we will to gain pleasure, plain and simple. However, this is also what holds us back from succeeding in any endeavor.

1.      Customize and crafting professional-looking RESUME and cover Letter:

This is most important to present before you the Buyer, Employer, and Hiring Manager. Please search online “how to build a killer resume” “Cover Letter” and manage the same. I am not an expert in this field, so referring to find out or manage through your expert friends, community, professional as you deem fit.

2.      Sound HOME Working Station:

The sound working station is a must. Noise and the destruction-free working station is a must. Your home having with small kids. Make a solitary separate space to provide uninterrupted service without sound pollution.

3.      Availability, working materials, and Tools:

You have to mention your availability 40+ weeks- or Part-time 20 Hours week to sell full-time skills virtually or relocate to further development of YOUR carrier. Virtual working and Support experiences do you have or not with a sound home space to render uninterrupted services having all working materials: PC, Laptop, Android Mob, Headset, Webcam, Time Tracker Apps, Dial-up and Broadband connection and willing to upgrade as needed…

Note: A PC is a must to be a freelancer. One of my bosom college and university friends, a retired banker asked me if it was possible with mobile? The answer was no… no … no!!! If you don’t have a PC you may try with a laptop as a second option only.

I started at ground zero with little knowledge, but a great deal of passion. What I learned along the way were some invaluable lessons from failure that hurt at the time, but helped immensely in the grand scheme of things. Since 2008 I am thriving to grow but never give up. Having full determination, courage, take a challenge, and consistently learning and finding ways and means to improve me. Doing internships, training, resume building activities to be job-ready.

4.      Add some credit to create an online portfolio:

You may try FACEBOOK Ads blueprint, Udmey or internship jobs through LinkedIn, Indeed for some legit and best online training certification courses…but I suggest Marketing jobs- Digital, Social Media, Facebook Ads, Email, SEO, Content marketing. These are and huge jobs market to finds jobs… and interesting and interacting that all are fun freedom and friendly with a handsome hourly rate from $30-100 as per your experiences… very starting from $20 an hour! Have a look at my a few pieces of training, certificates:
o   Digital Marketing credential, Badges:  https://www.credential.net/r8901q3g
o   Digital Marketing Apprenticeship Certificate:  https://pdf.credential.net/r8901q3g.pdf
·        Completed course How to drive traffic, generate leads and sales with TAGON here:
·        FaceBook Blueprint: Certificate of Completion
·        Business Manager

I am doing a job from last 19 Sep 2019 ending on 18 Oct 2019 (On the job training for 3 months, after successful completion may get the position of a Marketing Manager – hourly rate range- $60-75 with a Georgia, Atlanta, USA Company.)

5.      Find your niche: — Figure out what you're good at or what you want to be good at. You don't need to be an expert right now, but you do need to decide where you're going to fit in if you're at all serious about making serious cash in the long term. My Interest niches are VA (Virtual Assistant), PA (Personal Assistant), and Admin support back office, Social Media pages, Web site, and blog Admin; Marketing-Face book Ads, SMM, Digital Media Marketing. CM, EM SEO SEM B2C B2B Business Development- Strategies, Branding, Sales, and Startups support. You may choose your niches first and is a must to have better carrier build on. Don’t be a jack of all trades but master of none! Be concise and specific to show up your skills in particular areas.

You may add more- Customer Service. To make money from home in customer service, you'll need a high school degree or the equivalent for many jobs. ...Data Entry English Teacher or English Tutor Billing and Medical Coding Transcription Writing and Editing Web Design Logo Design etc.

6.      Think of Your hourly pricing:

Pricing your freelance services isn’t the easiest thing to do, especially if you’re new. But you know what? Your price could be the reason you can’t find freelance work.
Are you too cheap or too expensive?
If you are the cheapest available freelancer then you are selling yourself short. Very often a potential client may not want to work with someone who is charging too low as they equate this to low-quality work.

7.      Build a blog on a custom domain — your blog is your virtual home. Without it, you've no place to filter all that traffic and people interested in what you have to say. But don't build a blog on a subdomain; try a free blog at blogger.com or Wordpress.com. Have a look and visit my blogs here: https://baba08.blogspot.com https://babaodesh.wordpress.com

It will give a writing opportunity according to your niches, likes and interests to SHOWCASE you. Mind that sample is better than examples. It will be helpful to your buyer, employer, HR managers just simply copy-paste a link of your blog address or posts URLs to sight your samples at your fingertips. They may appraise your viability, English, thoughts, works, samples all in one at a glance. So, don’t have the right an assay every time ….this way you may save lots of time and effort too.

8.      Build your social media profiles:

These are also helping you out to showcase your works online. Open Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn accounts, and please never forget to complete the profile 100% to have a professional-looking one. Don’t use your mother language other than English in posting, sharing, chatting….Engagement whatever. Have a look at my social media profiles here:

9.      Build your online Job board and forum profile:

10.   Always add value-adding: value over time creates authority, and authority breeds trust, which in turn helps to grow your audience and readership. Without a significant following, you'll find it hard to gain any traction online. It simply takes time.

11.    Don't sacrifice morals for a quick buck — at the outset, you'll want to do all sorts of things to make money online, but don't sacrifice your morals for a quick buck. Think about the long-term results of your activities. It will seem frustrating in the beginning. Then again, everything worthwhile is going to be difficult. It will take time. Stick it out and don't give up. In the meanwhile, here are some of the best and most legitimate ways you can make money online in the short and long term.

Now, making money online should seem like a pleasurable activity. Why wouldn't we do just about anything to see things through, since it would be a major source of pleasure, right? Wrong. In the beginning, like anything else, we might get really excited about it. We might also set our hopes very high. But that all comes crashing down when we begin to fail. Now you are QUCIK BOWN FOX ready to JUMP OVER THE LAZY DOG. Wishing you a wonderful journey grows…. Stay tuned and focused on it… never mind sharing thoughts…
